Amber Heard is set to star in the upcoming horror movie “In the Fire“, which is scheduled to be released in theaters, On Demand, and Digital on Friday, October 13, 2023.

The film follows a doctor who travels to a remote plantation to treat a young boy who demonstrates unusual abilities. The local priest, however, believes the boy is possessed and doesn’t believe conventional medicine can help him.

Heard has described the film as “a meditation on the almost supernatural powers of love told through a strong-willed and independent woman at the turn of the 20th century.”

The film also stars Lorenzo McGovern Zaini, Sophie Amber, Luca Calvani, and Yari Gugliucci. It is directed by Conor Allyn, who makes his horror film debut with this project.

“In the Fire” is one of many horror films that are set to be released this Halloween season. Other notable films include “Five Nights at Freddy’s”, “Satanic Hispanics”, “Shaky Shivers”, “Saw X”, “Pet Sematary: Bloodlines”, and “Totally Killer”.
